Homework
Please Check the Planner!
Brook Haven students are issued Planners on the first day of school.
Teachers expect students to write ALL assignnments in this spiral
notebook and keep it in their binders.
In Language Arts I am especially diligent about this. In fact, students
receive extra credit points for regularly using this organizational
planner. Every Monday in class, we spend ten to fifteen minutes writing
down all assignments in all classes for the week. We include long-term
project due dates as well.
In addition to writing assignments, students are expected to read at
least ONE novel each month at home.
